SDLPD acts as a print server/client that implements the LPR/LPD protocol as described in RFC 1179. SDLPD can also be used to transfer print jobs between netware servers over a TCP/IP WAN. Print jobs may also be sent directly to TCP/IP enabled printers such as HP JetDirect print servers to conserve Netware Connection Licenses.
