pvpnd

Description

pvpnd is a simple daemon which greatly simplifies the task of setting up an PPP-over-SSH tunnel. And you dont even need root access to the other side of the tunnel to do it. All you need is a shell account where you can run slirp. Configuration is quite easy. You can find docs are in the file itself. Installation: Simply drop this file somewhere where you can run it, create /etc/pvpnd.conf file according to instructions below. Run pvnpnd as root to start VPNs. Configuration: All the configuration is normally done in the /etc/pvpnd.conf file each line is on the format "parameter: value", empty lines are ignored, and everything after a # is considered a comment. You can also send configuration options on the command line with the syntax "parameter=value". All configuration options given on the command line are considered global. A typical use for this would be to run pvnpnd debug=1 to find out why its not working. If a host parameter is present on the command line, the config file will not be read. For normal usage, pvpnd should be started without any parameters.. x2vnc is an X program that will allow two machines to be controlled from the same keyboard and mouse. One machine must run X windows, the other can run X or Microsoft Windows
