Handy TCP socket utility for NetWare servers. Developed originally as a test tool for i-MailDS this has become a useful tool for diagnosing TCP links on NetWare servers - especially when testing mail. SockClnt is a very simple bidirectional TELNET tool that can be used to hook up to any TCP port.

Sockclnt is an NLM based telnet tool that was designed for ensuring that i-Mail is up and functional without requiring a workstation connection. It allows connection to any TCP server and service including, but not limited to, POP and SMTP. It can be used to connect to i-Mail servers or any ISP to troubleshoot mail and other TCP service related problems directly from the NetWare server console.
