Tree Commander
"Tree Commander" consists of two Components. The "Designer" and the"Engine".

The Designer:

The Designer gives you the possibility to design a copy operation between Directories. It does not matter if the source is equal to the destination or not. It is a simple and intuitive interface for designing a copy operation which can include thousands of objects. Filters and Matching-Rules allow a very specific description of the copy operation. All properties are accessible via the Designer-GUI. You do not need special knowhow in any scripting language. The Designer shows the result of the copy operation immediately. You can browse the destination Tree and verify the result of the copy operation. Copy operations can be grouped and saved as a scenario to be later continued. Reference attributes will be recalculated because of their new destination environment, for example the Groupmembership reference between Users - Groups. The Designer can help you in many situations. Re-Design or creating a new tree from an existing tree were our first development-goals regarding "Tree Commander". Today we have a lot of new ideas from our engineers, partners and customers to continue the development. For example: ZEN/Application and NDPS objects.

The Engine:

The Engine is responsible for running the designed copy operation online. You can simulate or run the copy operation. A detailed view and Trace File will give you information about the status of the current copy progress.

NDS Specific - TreeCopy v1.5.1

TreeCopy will allow you to select the "from directory" and "into directory", and it will proceed to copy ONLY the directory structure. This is temporary workaround for Total Commander's inability to do this or to use a complex filter while copying. The utility is bundled with functionality such as a command line interface, calculate directories, Windows XP look and feel and much, much more!

Let's you copy a tree or part of a tree to another tree or subcontainer of the same tree.
Leaf object copy is optional, this means you are able to copy only a tree structure.

Following objects are created :

Containers : all
Leaf object : "Template", "Group", "Organizational Role", "Container Package", "User", "Workstation" and "Application".
And no properties are copied

NDS Specific - NDS Exporter v1.29

This Delphi application let you perform almost any query on the NDS. You select a class of NDS object, some properties you want to collect, additionnal conditions on values (exist, not exist, equal, greater, less, between, contains...), exportation options ( delimiters...) and send the ouput of the search to a rich text edit. Results can be edited (copy, paste, find, replace..) and saved to a text file suitable for importation to databases products. A common use is to edit the output file and re-inject it into the NDS using Uimport for a bulk modification. Queries can be saved/reloaded both in " internal format" or in "SQL like" syntax.
