Utility designed to provide the 'IF MEMBER' feature of login scripts in batch files and menu systems DOS 3x

Description:

Checks that the current number of total channels in the current channel's group does not exceed 'max'. If the number does not exceed 'max', we continue to the next step. If the number does in fact exceed max, if priority n+101 exists, then execution continues at that step.

Present in Asterisk 1.0.x

Not in 1.2.x: The CheckGroup application has been deprecated, please use a combination of the GotoIf application and the GROUP_COUNT() function, example:

GotoIf($[ ${GROUP_COUNT()} > 5 ]?103)

In Asterisk v1.2 there is also a new function called GROUP_LIST() which will return a space separated list of all of the groups set on a channel. The GROUP() function can also return the name of the group set on a channel when used in a read environment.

MSCDEX emulator for networked CD-ROM drives DOS

SAPUCDEX is a replacement for Windows NT/2K/XP's default MSCDEX emulation, MSCDEXNT, which is extremely basic and does not support many functions that DOS programs require, resulting in program failures or other anomalies. SAPUCDEX restores the functionality of the old DOS MSCDEX.
Some of the problems you might encounter are:

Some of the earlier CD-ROM games, such as the Coktel Vision CD games, is that the sound is on a Redbook CD audio track, separate from the data track. There can be timing issues with animations, cut scenes or events in the games where timing at certain points in the games is based on this audio track. XP's emulation of the old DOS driver (MSCDEX) is imperfect, so the games can lock up, even when using VDMSound.
CD audio might not play because Windows NT's MSCDEX emulator does not route CD commands to Windows.
Some program will quit with an error that MSCDEX is too old because the default MSCDEX emulation identifying itself with a fake version number (2.21).
CD Installers sometimes quit when attempting to transfer files because of unimplemented direct CD read functions in Windows NT's MSCDEX.

These might effect any CD-ROM game.

Contains 'DoForAll.EXE' and 'DoForMmb.EXE'. Those utilities allow to issue any command for a specified set of users or groups. "DoForAll User=* NCOPY xyz.doc SYS:MAIL/%ID" issues NCOPY for all users. "DoForAll Gr=W* MD F:\%name" creates a subdir in F:\ for each group matching 'W*'. DoForMmb.EXE does a similar job for all members of a specified group

Sets errorlevel depending on VLM or NETX loaded 8k DOS

3 Neither are loaded
2 congratulations, you have managed to load both at once!!
1 VLM alone is loaded
0 NETX is loaded.

This is useful for customising system.ini for the different NETWARE.DRV depending upon which sort of re-director/shells you are using. A warning message is printed if you manage to load BOTH the VLM and NETX at the same time; according to the manual you can do it, but are probably going to crash and burn!

This software has been tested against the following software versions; if does not work on your machine please inform the author by email. To determine the software versions you are using use the 'version' utility.

Map root the next free (unmapped) network drive to the path specified, starts from the last drive letter available, includes source DOS 3x 4x.

Can optionally map the drive letter as a search drive.
Does not attempt to log the user into a fileserver

Sets an environment variable specifying what letter has been mapped
errorlevel set on exit:

0 - success
1 - Out of environment space
2 - no free drive available for mapping
3 - path invalid
4 - some other error [bad arguments]

Usage of MAPNEXT

mapnext [options] <variable-name> <Netware Path>

Options:

-d debugging output [lots!] [only available in debug version]
-v produces verbose output [path mapped, and drive letter]
-s produces a search mappin
